The TD-50 is Roland's brand new flagship model in the acclaimed V- Drums lineup. Featuring a brand new sound module with Prismatic Sound Modeling, as well as a brand new snare and ride cymbal, The New TD-50 is even more versatile, expressive and authentic to an acoustic set than anything else on the market.
When Choosing a TD-50 Electronic Kit, there are 2 different configurations to choose from; TD50K or TD50KV.
In addition to the new Snare and Ride, This TD50KV features a 10-inch PD-108-BC V-Pad and two 12-inch PD-128-BC V-Pad toms, a Black VH-13 V-Hi-Hat, CY-14C & CY-15R V-Cymbals, and the KD-140 Kick Drum.
New Advanced Brain
The TD-50 kits feature a newly developed brain that's designed to be even more realistic than ever before. Using Roland's Prismatic Sound Modelling technology, every subtle detail of the drummers playing style is heard with stunning accuracy and detail. In addition to this, drummers can now load their own custom samples onto an SD card and trigger them from any of the pads. Via USB, the TD-50 can connect to a computer DAW and send up to 10 channels of audio, making it easy to capture multi-track drum performances in song productions. The TD-50 Brain also offers master XLR outputs and eight TRS balanced outputs for individual drums with inboard routing; a convenient feature for stage performers.
Upgraded Realistic Drum Pads
The TD-50 kits have new top of the range snare and ride pads that hook up via high speed digital connections to ensure there's no latency between strike and sound.
The Snare is a 14" PD-140 digital snare featuring Rolands new multi-element sensor system and a 3-layer mesh head that give a natural rebound and feel. This new design means that the system will notice hits across every area of the pad, and tiny changes in dynamics are detected so that you can play more expressively and naturally with every subtle nuance reflected in what you hear.
The new Ride Pad is an 18" CY-18DR Digital ride with a new high-resolution, multi sensor system that detects every stroke from edge to bell. This combined with the new TD-50 module gives the drummer the widest range of dynamics and responsiveness that has not been possible with any previous Cymbal pad.
