It all starts with the finest (and most sophisticated) capsule sE has ever built. Handcrafted and individually tuned at the sE factory, the RNT's gold-sputtered 1" true condenser capsule features a sophisticated electrode design that delivers flawlessly natural sound quality. The precision tuning of the dual-diaphragm capsule makes it possible for you to choose the ideal polar pattern for every application from a 9-position rotary switch on the Floor Box front panel. The RNT's textbook cardioid pattern, for instance, is highly effective at minimizing off-axis pickup. Want to mix in a little room ambience? Dial it counter-clockwise (back towards omni). Add a taste of front- and rear-lobe bleed? Switch it clockwise toward figure-8.
